Hi friend!
Coming to you live from Austin, Texas.
Here’s your weekly dose of Arman’s Antics. Five things I’ve been exploring and pondering that will make you think, laugh, cry (or a nasty combination of the three).
Welcome to the 18 new subscribers receiving this for the first time (374 total) — I respect your inbox and don’t take your attention lightly.
Hopefully nobody is reading this, but if you are, please keep it to yourself.
Essay I wrote last week
There’s so many colorful words that come to mind when you hear the word “salesman” and few of them are admirable…for good reason.
Trust me, it’s been my occupation for 8+ years so I’ve worked with my fair share of future used car salesmen.
But there’s one valuable lesson that’s stuck with me, of which, the results never cease to amaze. I call it:
Book I can’t stop rereading
Every once in a while, maybe every five years or so, you come across a book that you swear was written for you.
This might be one of those books for you.
Why?
It contains 27 contradictory answers to the question — How do I live the good life?
The WPP (wisdom per page) is off the charts.
Each chapter is so convincing that you finish it tempted to believe, “OK this is the real answer!”
Resist that urge.
Go on to the next answer with an open mind.
Friendly warning: one of these chapters may cause you to flip your life upside down and never look back…
New diet I’m experimenting with
I’ve been on the hunt to find a new diet ever since my pants started fitting like women’s leggings.
Not a pretty sight.
I’m still not convinced the perfect universal diet exists.
But I found one called The New Evolution Diet that focuses on eating, this may shock you, real food like our 40,000 year old cousins ate — meat, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and water.
It’s worked for Art De Vany so why not try it?
(He’s over 75 in this video):
Check your emails from Sunday
You should have received a short little note in your inbox on Sunday from me.
Several of you have already replied and for that I’m forever grateful.
But for those of you who missed it, please take a second to search for “Please don’t read this email” and reply!
There’s been rumors going around that it’s the best email ever sent.
Random thought
Most of our beliefs are wrong but convincing.
That’s it for the 65th edition of Arman’s Antics.
I hope you didn’t make it this far, but if you did, please don’t like, comment, or restack below. Now back to your regularly scheduled nonstop scrolling.
Have a terrific Tuesday friend!
Cheers,
Arman
