I wonder if the "junk" content is actually a form of cultural anthropology. Think about it: we're observing the collective consciousness, the trends, the humor, the anxieties of our time. It’s like studying the folklore of our era. Future historians might look back at our memes and reality shows to understand what we valued, what we feared, and what made us laugh. In that sense, indulging in "junk" content isn't just entertainment; it's research. We're gaining insights into the human condition, albeit in a roundabout way.

It's about once 6 times a year when I'm mentally exhausted that I visit Instagram and go down the rabbit hole for an hour or two. I actually enjoy it. On regular basis I'd have a brain seizure I'm sure.

It's a solid idea! I know people who delete their social apps until the weekend so they can be more productive throughout the week. Part of my work involves social media so it's hard to be away haha.

Oh that's a good one too. It's crazy how much your screen time goes down if you don't have social media on your phone. But yeah I unfortunately have to use Linkedin for work so I'm on there waaaaay more than I wish!

" I still stuck to my nutritious content diet six days a week, but allowed myself one cheat day to go buck wild. " Well, I think this is what Dennis Miller does ---to generate his 'rant' material.

" I had no clue what was going on " Yeah. That can be a problem. And then you know you run into some sucker who wants to have a conversation with you. And you don't know anything!
