Ok, I'm inspired! So, this is a test to see what happens when I share my lastest test project in the comment section of another friend's blog, breaking the rule I usually follow to keep a low-profile and never promote the things I really care about because what if someone doesn't like it? www.breakarule.com (I've never seen someone try this with Substack.)
One of my favorite parts of the world. I think I had the most fun in Thailand but I also went to Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. Where are you?
Yessir! I worked for investment advisories for about 6 years and hated my every waking existence, so I started building out a cargo van back in January 22' and began living in it full-time out in California from Feb 22-Mar 23... Began trading futures fulltime through prop-trading firms back in Sept 22 until now. It's been "up and down" the first year, and had to move home temporarily so I can have a place to gain consistency and rebuild my savings, since the first 6 months were a struggle to get by and also the environment was tricky e.g. being in the back of a van. Although it's stressful at times, I always tell myself that I'd sacrifce the stress of waking up every morning having to put on some fake person to politic with people that I neither respect nor admire to the stress of having variable income and sometimes losing money but getting to build a skill and do something I enjoy everyday :0) I'm on the journey right now and wouldn't trade the struggle I've been through for anything!
thats incredible man. i hope youre documenting this and sharing with others (like starting a substack). i love people who take a leap and try a different approach to life that brings them joy and takes them on an adventure!

Great take on having an experimental mindset. And what a bonus that you found your fiancé because of it
