Yes sir! I asked my friends this on my bachelor trip so I'll ask you too -- what's one piece of anti-marriage advice you could share? In other words, what's one guaranteed way to get divorced? (so I can avoid doing that)
There's a concept from John & Julie Gottman's approach to couples therapy called the Four Horsemen: criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling. So if you really want to get divorced, try to do all of those as much as possible :)
Bro, you’re getting married?

Would highly recommend Steinbeck's Log from the Sea of Cortez next.
This is the first book of his that I've read but I'm sure he's got so many gems. Thanks for the heads up Robert!
You never had to read Of Mice and Men or The Grapes of Wrath in high school?
I did but I hated reading with a passion so I just read the sparknotes
I see. What changed for you and reading?
Not being forced to read something that didnt interest me. But I wish I would have started years earlier!
I see.
Ps. wrote something about Steinbeck Country and Log from the Sea of Cortez here: https://walrod.substack.com/p/travel-sketches-5
